Overstim.s Gatosport

Description:

The last meal before a long event must be energy-packed and easy to digest. Overstim.s Gatosport is a sports cake you bake at home: one tin makes a cake of which 1/3 to 1/2 provides around 500 kcal of progressive energy, and it can be eaten as little as 1 hour before the start. It is the complete pre-competition breakfast for marathons, trail races, triathlons and long rides.

Ingredients:

Sugar, wheat flour, bread mix (wheat flour, wheat gluten, lactose and milk protein, salt), cereal flours, sunflower oil, flavour inclusions (chocolate chips, almonds, caramel or pecan), wheat germ, raising agent, minerals. The Chocolate and Almond Gluten Free versions use a gluten-free recipe.

Usage Instructions:

Mix the whole tin (400 g) with about 250 ml of water, stir until smooth and bake at 180 to 200°C for 30 to 40 minutes.

• Before Competition: Eat 1/3 to 1/2 of the cake slowly, finishing about 1 hour before the start.

• Storage: Keep remaining portions in the freezer; never refreeze.
