• Standard Protocol: Day before: 1 Drink Mix 320 and 1 PILLAR can. Race morning, about 3 hours out: 1 Drink Mix 320 and 1 Solid 160, plus 1 PILLAR can. 30–45 minutes before your start: 1 Gel 100 Caf 100. 15 minutes before: 1 Gel 100. Racing past 75 minutes: take the 2nd Gel 100 on a run lap. After: 1 PILLAR can.

• Environment Strategy: The race hall is hot and humid. Drink to a plan the day before and on the morning, and don't try anything new on race day.
